Big news! We're officially inviting our readers to the first Closed Beta for our new app, Montecarlo Simulator.
Many of you have checked out our demo on the Streamlit community site [https://hodentekhelp.blogspot.com/2025/10/can-you-make-stock-forecasting-with.html]. As you've probably noticed, that shared platform can get very busy, leading to long wait times for the server to wake up. We heard you!
That’s why we’re excited to launch this new beta.
A Faster, More Responsive Version for All Devices
While Montecarlo Simulator is initially being developed as a dedicated app for Android devices, we have moved the core application onto our own highly-responsive, public-facing web platform.
This means you can access the fast, new version on any internet-connected device—PC, Mac, tablet, or phone—with no more server wake-up delays.
We’ve moved from our small "insider" test group to this new, faster platform, and now it's time for you to put it to the test.
Your Mission: Test the Speed and Features
We're looking for readers interested in stock forecasting to join us as beta testers. Your job is crucial: to help us find any remaining bugs. We'd like you to please focus on these three key areas while using the web link:
1. UI Testing: Test the user interface with a range of different values (e.g., very large numbers, very small numbers, range of simulaitons) and look for any unusual rendering problems.
2. Visualization: Check all graphs, charts, and data displays. Are there any visualization problems? (e.g., data not loading, charts looking broken, labels overlapping).
3. Functionality: Test all the elements. Are there any functionality problems? (e.g., do all the buttons, sliders, and input fields work as expected?).
📱 Critical Android Task: .APK Installation
In addition to testing the web version, we would also like our Android users to download the .apk file and try to install it on your device as a standalone app.
This helps us test the deployment process. Should you find any difficulty installing the .apk file on your device (e.g., error messages, permissions issues, or installation failures), we urgently request that you share your detailed findings in your feedback report.
What to Expect (It's a Beta!)
This is pre-release software, so you might still find a quirk or two (that's what we're counting on you to find!). But you'll have the benefit of testing both a high-speed web version and the native Android installation process.
