Is it OK to get teeth cleaned during this COVID-19 season?

This question must be on everybody's mind. It is up to the dental service providers to help us out. They are principally guided by the

Dental association:

https://success.ada.org/en/practice-management/patients/infectious-diseases-2019-novel-coronavirus?utm_source=adaorg&utm_medium=VanityURL

And they in turn depend on CDC and OSHA as they should be.

Despite these recommendations, patients are not too happy to walk in to get their teeth cleaned as the dentist's office are small and sealed due to weather related conditions. Also, there is the question of waiting for the dentist/hygienist to be free to attend you.

I could not get answers on the ADA site and I have sent these questions:

I will share, if I get an answer.

How can we convert the Excel data table to Access?

Excel Table is Excel data converted to a table.

Excel application allows you to export excel data in an Excel sheet in two ways.

1. Create PDF/XPS Document

2. Allows you to change the File Type

The following filetypes are possible:

There is no direct way you can go from Excel to Access but there are a number of ways you can do.

Here is a simple procedure of taking Excel data to Access.

We start with a simplest data in a sheeet. Use File|SaveAs and save it as a CSV file shown here.

Create a new database from Access

Now all you need to do is to import into an Access application.

Open the Access database and click on External Data. Now click New Data Source as shown and from going to submneu you can get data from a file saved in several formats incouding CSV. Click on File|Excel.

This opens up 'Get External Data-Excel Spreadsheet'. Browse and select the CSV file you created and accept the default for import, Import the source data into a new table in the current database.
Huh! Editor sucks!!

Click OK. The Import Spreadsheet Wizard comes up showing your data in the Excel sheet.

Click Finish. Your data is in an Access table as shown.

If you need to bring in your data, follow the steps. For problems contact me.

Are there autos that run on Hydrogen in the USA?

The answer is yes. Japan, Germany South Korea are other countries in the free world (non-communist) that are having cars that run on hydrogen. The filling stations for hydrogen fuel for the cars are not that many but it is improving. Even trains and truck that run are getting into the market place. Recent statistics shows that hydrogen run vehicles are most suited for the heavy and long-haul categories.

Here are cars manufactured by automakers that run on hydrogen. The autos can be bought/leased in the USA. Presently California is the only state that has hydrogen filling stations. The following table shows the countries that support hydrogen and some statistics.

Toyota has been producing cars that run on hydrogen for a number of years. Honda and Hyundai are other makers from the Far East.

Toyota Mirai

Honda Clarity

Hyundai Nexo

Japan is quite serious and there will be thousands of filling stations in the near future.

Battery run vehicles are perhaps the best to replace the internal combustion engines in the near term. Probably the scarcity of rare earths (China has a choke hold on these) will drive automakers more towards hydrogen.
Mega cities in China, India and other populous countries are having health issues related to traffic pollution and clean, hydrogen cars will be of great importance.

What kind electric vehicles will sell in India?

There are enough billionaires and untold millionaires to buy cars in India, including Elan Musk's. It will definitely help to reduce pollution. There are already EV's manufactured in India. I have seen one in my neighbors since 2014 or so.

There are lots of other moneyed folks who can afford.

I hope that Elon can make a slightly smaller foot print car. The roads are congested. I further suggest that his cars do not violate animal rights, otherwise he will be asking for trouble. You need to share roads with cows, dogs, and sometimes donkeys.

I really suggest he delays his ambition to sell driver-less cars.

Perhaps, he should take up my bet, and if he succeeds, then he may.

The bet is here:

In my opinion, India should straight away go for hydrogen cars by side stepping the lithium battery nightmare. Our landscape is already littered with the auto-industry debris. I do not like to see discarded old batteries piling up on the footpath and on either side of our highways.

How can be Microsoft Office more supportive of the users?

I have been using Micrsoft Office 365 for quite a longtime. I wish Microsoft keeps everything they put out to users is verified to be current.

I wanted to use Microsoft Editor in Word 365. I do not see the Microsoft Editor menu item in the 'ribbon' under Home.

Trying to get chat or telephone help failed.
